D.A.E. — The Person
At the age of 11, Daniel Andrew Ennis unexpectedly passed away due to a rare connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which caused a sudden aortic dissection. Remembered as the most kindhearted kid you’d ever meet, Daniel was the first one for a hug or to ask how your day was. He never met a stranger. No one was ever left out with him.
Daniel loved dogs, Christmas and spending time with family & friends.
Daniel loved everyone.
D.A.E. — The Organization
A D.A.E. to Smile was founded in 2020 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that honors the memory & spirit of Daniel. The organization focuses on supporting disabled children and providing help to children in need. A D.A.E. to Smile also allocates funds for research, prevention & educational awareness related to connective tissue diseases.
Daniel believes in our passion for helping children.
